So When is it your turn? Is something people just can’t stop asking me.

Let me set the scene for you: I’m standing outside of the church, where my cousin Laura was just married, so I could take some pictures. My aunt walks out, points at me and screams, “And You’re Next”. Of course everyone looks at me. I smile and wave.

The phrase, “There are plenty of fish in the sea” is one that has often rubbed me the wrong way. I know what they are trying to say, but it seems like they could say it with different imagery. I am fishing for Mrs. Right or as I’ve seen a pair of T-shirts say: Mrs. Always Right. Am I just throwing out a hook in hopes that I’ll snag some young Phillie, or is there more to it?

The Epic Battle…

Some things in life can make you sit in wonder and disillusion.

I had that moment yesterday. I am working outside doing landscaping work this summer, and I’m surrounded by trees, flowers, grass and other things pertaining to nature. You never look and analyze at something like blades of grass or blossoms on a tree until you spend eight hours a day around them.
